Who we are

about

While attending Life Church, Timmetha Harris, the founder of Overcomers Home Health Care, heard an inspiring message from her pastor, motivating her to step out in faith and follow Gods plan for her life by serving people. As a nurse, Timmetha uses her faith, inspired heart and skills to nurture people back to health. While leading and empowering her staff to first seek God in all that they do and second, serve people with their hearts.

Why the name Overcomers?

about

We all agree that this is not a typical name for a home health care agency. However, as people of faith, we are not meant to be typical, but rather strange to a hurting world, so that the world can witness the true power of faith. In Timmetha's spare time, she leads a Life Group for women. Before beginning the group, she was having trouble thinking of a name for the group that truly encompassed its meaning. Through prayer and with the help of a sister, she realized that everyone living in this world has a unique story and journey that usually involves overcoming some type of struggle or sickness; hence, the Overcomers group was born. Timmetha has watched these women passionately incorporate faith and prayer to help one another on a daily basis through a relationship with God. She takes this passion into her business and helps others become true overcomers by combining faith with superior care. Ultimately, when our faith as patients and health care provider is combined, we are all overcomers regardless of religion, race, age, disease process, mental status and physical/emotional issues.
